Google Stadia Connect August presentation: How to watch and what to expect

Google will stream its second Stadia Connect presentation later this month (August) to show off its forthcoming [cloud gaming platform][2] - timed to coincide with Europe's largest videogames show, [Gamescom 2019][3].

The first Stadia Connect was streamed online in June, shortly before [E3 2019][4], and you can watch it again below. It revealed pricing and marked the start of pre-orders. The latest online stream is expected to focus more on the games.

## When does the Stadia Connect stream start?

The presentation will be online only and, we suspect, pre-recorded - much like the first edition in June. It will start at 10am PDT on 19 August 2019 - the local time for Google HQ in California.

Here are the local times for you to put in your diary:

* UK: 6pm BST
* Central Europe: 7pm CEST
* East Coast US: 1pm EDT
* West Coast US: 10am PDT
* Japan: 12am JST (20 August)

## What to expect from Google Stadia livestream

While the first Stadia Connect garnished us with details about the different subscription options and pricing, the second will focus primarily on games.

We did see a few the last time around - most notably the first reveal of Baldurs Gate 3, Google promises many more announcements and details on the line-up.

"This time around, it's all about the games! From revealing brand-new titles to going behind-the-scenes with our partners, we can't wait to show what Stadia has in store for you," it said.
