Free Google Nest Mini for some Google Play Music and YouTube Premium subscribers

It seems that Google isn't done giving away [Google Nest Mini devices][2]. In some regions, [Google Play Music][3] and YouTube Premium subscribers have been seeing pop-up notifications offering the newest iteration of Google's tiny smart home speaker for free.

The [Google Nest Mini][2] has only recently been updated, so it's surprising to see Google giving away the new device, but it's certainly a bonus in time for Christmas.

[Google][4] has previously offered the original Google Home Mini for free for both [Spotify subscribers][5] and [Google One subscribers][6]. Now even more people can take advantage of this special offer.

The offer doesn't appear to be open to everyone, but instead is both user and region-specific. Android Police reports that "users from Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Norway, Italy, Sweden, and Australia" have been able to access the promotion. It's also popped up on [Reddit][9] and other places around the web as users have started to receive emails, pop-up notifications or noticed the offer in other ways.

Considering the Google Play Music subscription costs $9.99/£9.99 a month, YouTube Premium is $12.99/£11.99 and a Google Nest Mini is around $49.99/£49.99 it's a bit of a bargain.
